ReplyDeleteYou are so kind!! Thank you so much for your comment and support!! It's still very slow going...but I am so thankful for this journey, and for blogger friends like you :)
DeleteI was so excited to see this. Way to go!
ReplyDeleteYou know how much I adore your SweetPotatoMayas!
XO
Thank you!! Maybe the world will open up to sweet potatoes more :) OXOXO!
DeleteCongratulations on the publicity! My mother's family is from that area (I love Oregon...it holds so many great childhood memories for me.) I'm looking forward to looking around your blog. I have a family member who has gone gluten-free and so now I'll have a place to find tips and recipes to support her. I'm thinking about trying gluten free, but I'm just taking baby steps right now! Cheers - Sarah Marie
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for commenting, and for stopping by!! I'm so glad you have good feelings tied with Oregon :) I've been here over 10 years now, and I've definitely begun appreciate the beauty and the quirkiness of it ;) Yeah...I'm learning a lot about gluten-free too. It's wonderful there's more awareness and alternatives, especially for people with celiac disease. I have mixed feelings too. While it's definitely a healthier option for everyone - because any 'wheat' now are so genetically altered, that most bodies cannot handle it, let alone process or digest it - you have to be able to afford it. What if you want to eat healthy, but you can't afford it? I don't know... I've gone off on a tangent - sorry! I'm taking baby steps too, and am so thankful for this blog thing that's expanding my world and allowing me to connect with good people :) I enjoyed bouncing around in your blog too! And picked up some great tips :) Thanks again for coming by, and here to more happy blog connections! Take care :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the cover story! I love reading the background behind this recipe - the best thing about food is the story it tells.
ReplyDeleteoh wow, thank you so much for popping in, and for the comment! You reminded me why I'm doing this and how it makes me happy :) Thank you!!
